Webinar Objectives:
In this second webinar of our Practical Paediatrics series, Presidents of the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) and Specialised Nutrition Europe (SNE), Seppo Salminen and Udo Herz:
- Discussed the relevance and scientific evidence to support synbiotics in the management of infants at risk and with a diagnosis of allergic disease; and
- Addressed common queries and concerns with the use of probiotics and synbiotics.
The format for this webinar was a presentation followed by a discussion between the speakers and interactive Q&A session. Following this webinar, a follow up podcast was produce to address the questions that arose but, due to time constraints were unable to be answered in the live webinar.
